About the Barn
Celebration Barn has helped nurture some of America's finest touring artists, actors, dancers, mimes, jugglers, storytellers, (you name it!) and has earned an international reputation. Yet people from all walks of life join in the fun simply to explore the arts or to learn how to better express themselves.
"I have so many memories of The Barn, they are diverse, filled with people's faces, moments of great theater, good food, bad coffee, late nights and early mornings, cats, kids, and black flies. Tony created a place that was like a church is supposed to be - a place of deep searching, a place where risk and those who fail are picked up and encouraged to grow, a place where community and grace abound. The Barn for me was a spiritual place as well as a creative center, a place of growth, a place of intense personal struggle and discipline."

Celebration Barn offers a full season of intense, creative, and focused performance-study programs with world-class teachers, all in the stunning foothills of the western Maine mountains.
