 History of Celebration Barn

In 1988, Tony sold The Barn to Leland Faulkner (Tony’s friend, partner, and former student) and Carolyn Brett (former agent and manager for the Celebration Theater Ensemble). They expanded the faculty and included a broader range of theatrical disciplines which continue to this day.

In 1992, Executive Director Carol Brett became the sole owner of The Barn, and Tony Montanaro returned as Artistic Director.

Since 1993, the Barn has enjoyed a period of stability and growth while developing plans for expansion to better serve the artistic community.
