"The Barn was a great place to 'incubate'. Put twenty performers from around the world together in the Maine woods, mix vigorously day and night for truth in movement and improvisation, then fine tune the results in performance on the weekends. I loved being there and I'm glad to know new generations are continuing to discover themselves and create anew... a real center, a touchstone for actors and dancers who don't quite fit the mold, people who have a desire to shape their own material, a place to walk, think, work, relax, meet, debate, improvise, and find out what you have to say on stage.
