Merry-conwayMerry Conway has pursued a love of comedy, clown and language for almost 40 years, moving between several areas of the performance process.  She teaches workshops and classes: NYU Tisch class on language/wit/wordplay, Linklater Roma, Linklater Center NYC, Brandeis, Carnegie-Mellon and independent workshops in NYC; is a consultant: Clownmaster and Worden of Wit at Shakespeare & Company, LA Women’s Shakespeare Company; and is a coach for actors and performers: Anna Deavere Smith for 10 years.  Merry is a collaborator and performer of devised performance and installation: Co-Artistic Director, with Noni Pratt, of Conway & Pratt Projects for 20 years; and has performed as a clown in several duos as well as Circus Flora.  She directed and produced a DVD set about her master teacher, Trish Arnold, and her Movement for Actors.  Merry was most recently in Maine as a co-director at Portland Stage doing Wittenberg with Ron Botting. More about all this at:
