Facetime: An Interview with Amanda Huotari
When she was 13, Amanda Huotari went to the Celebration Barn in South Paris to study theater. After traveling the world to study and perform - including San Francisco, Italy and Paris - Amanda returned to Maine. In 2006, she became executive director of the theater she first learned her craft in, and became owner in January 2007. Playing with Presence: A Conversation with David Gaines
David Gaines toured internationally for ten years with The Moving Picture Mime Show, a very successful theatre company based in London. He was then invited to Paris to teach alongside Jacques Lecoq at the Ecole Lecoq as a professor of improvisation, mask, and movement. This summer, Celebration Barn presents students with two opportunities to study with David.

Meet the Barn's New Executive Director!
When Amanda Huotari first came to Celebration Barn as a teenager, she discovered a passion for creating original theater. Since then, while living, studying, and performing in Boston, San Francisco and Paris, she has returned to the Barn almost every summer to be a part of this thriving creative community. Now Mandy’s helping usher in the next generation at Celebration Barn as our new Executive Director. Great things are happening!
