The Montanaro Method
with Karen Montanaro & Leland Faulkner
July 24 - 28, 2006

For thirty years, Tony Montanaro's dynamic method of creative discovery brought people from around the world to Celebration Barn. Many of today's top performing artists were taught, directed, and inspired by Tony. Now you have the chance to study the Montanaro Method with two of its foremost practitioners.

The Montanaro Method centers around a unique style of improvisation. Based on the premise that each individual is directly connected to to their creative source, this workshop provides a method for directly accessing that source.

Physical warm-ups precede morning improvisation exercises. Private directing-sessions take place every afternoon. Evenings are devoted to scene study and critique sessions. At the workshop's close there is the opportunity to validate the new work in front of a live audience. If you want a method that empowers your presence and jump-starts your repertoire, this workshop is for you.
