Remembering Tony
with Karen Montanaro
June 12 - 16, 2006
To celebrate Tony Montanaro's work and the importance of what he started, this week is an opportunity for former students to gather in support of each other and Celebration Barn.
It is an opportunity to revisit Tony's exercises, show old and new stage material, direct, and improvise together. In return, participants will support the Barn donating some of their time and energy each day, performing odd jobs needing to be done around the property (cleaning, painting, gardening, pruning, carpentry, working in the office, etc.).
Space in this workshop is reserved for former students of Tony (concessions may be made for people with particular skill in carpentry or pruning). We can look forward to this and many other proofs of Tony's continuing presence in our lives and work.
There will be a performance on Friday evening, where students are encouraged to show their old and new stage pieces in front of a live audience.
