Louis Colaianni, one of the foremost Linklater Voice Teachers, is offering a five-day workshop that outlines the entire Linklater Voice Progression.
Within each if us, beneath layers of defense, inhibition and social conditioning, lives a free and expressive voice. This intensive workshop is designed to awaken and enhance the participant's ability to speak with vocal power, clarity, sensitivity, resonance and range.

Based on Kristin Linklater's book "Freeing the Natural Voice," this is a rare opportunity to experience the entire Linklater Voice progression in a single week. Linklater Voice training is popular the world over and is used by many actor training programs.
The workshop includes highly practical and detailed training in the following areas:
Physical awareness
Breath awareness
Vibration awareness
Amplification of vibrations
Freeing the channel for sound (jaw, tongue, soft palate)
Resonance (chest, mouth, teeth, sinus, nasal bone, top of skull)
Power breathing
Range
Articulation
Application to the spoken word.
The workshop goes far beyond an exploration of vocal apparatus. It addresses the voice in a physical context; in which speaking and listening involve the entire body.
